A whistle blower recently released a series of images they claim come from Coca-Cola's diversity training programme. The screenshots told employees to be 'less white' and stated that in 'the U.S and other Western nations, white people are socialized to feel that they are inherently superior because they are white'.
However, the exact circumstances surrounding the training remain unclear. As of yet only minor right-wing sites have sought to investigate the matter, though they did receive comment from the company. Coca-Cola has responded to the allegations as follows:
The ambiguous nature of the statement makes it unclear as to what role the pictured training played and whether Coca-Cola had encouraged its employees to take part it in, even if it wasn't a 'focus of the curriculum'. Never the less it does appear that this is a legitimate training programme on the LinkedIn site used by businesses to 'train' their employees about diversity and equality. In that vain we are asking in today's poll, do you think diversity training has gone too far? Vote in the Just Debate poll below and have your say.
